1. The short version

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not profile you. It sets no cookies of its own at all. The only third-party request it makes is to Google Fonts, to download the typefaces you are reading.

If that changes — for example if we add analytics or a chat widget — we will update this page and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels. They can be used for things that are genuinely necessary (keeping you logged in), for convenience (remembering a preference), for measurement (counting visits), or for advertising (following you between sites).

Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party; cookies set by another domain whose content is embedded in the page are third-party.

3. What this site uses

Cookies and storage used by alaya.biz
CategoryUsed here?Detail
Strictly necessary cookiesNoneThe site is static. There is no login, basket or session to maintain.
Preference cookiesNoneWe do not store any preference on your device.
Analytics cookiesNoneNo Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording.
Advertising cookiesNoneWe do not advertise through tracking networks or build audiences from visitors.
Local / session storageNoneNothing is written to browser storage.

Because no non-essential cookie is set, this site shows no cookie consent banner. A banner that asks permission for nothing is theatre, and we would rather not perform it.

4. Third-party content

Google Fonts

Typefaces are requested from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google does not set a cookie for this, but it does receive your IP address and basic request headers, because that is how any file is delivered over the internet. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.

If you prefer to avoid this entirely, you can block those domains in your browser or an extension — the site remains fully readable with fallback typefaces. Site owners can also self-host the font files; see the project README.

Embedded maps and media

If a map or video is embedded on the contact page in future, that provider may set cookies when the embed loads. Where that is the case we will load the embed only after you click to accept it, and this page will be updated first.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. These are not cookies, and they are covered in our Privacy Notice.

5. How to control cookies

You can delete and block cookies in any modern browser, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies will not break this site, because it does not rely on any. Useful links:

  • Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Brave all document cookie controls in their help centres.
  • Private or incognito windows discard cookies and storage when you close them.
  • Browser extensions can block third-party domains such as the font host described above.

6. Changes and contact

If we introduce any cookie or tracking technology, this page will be updated before it goes live and consent will be requested where the law requires it. Questions: use the contact form and choose “Data privacy request”.
